02 · The hour
What happens in sixty minutes.
- I
Warm up
Five minutes on the mat. We watch how you move before any tech turns on — and two minutes on what's bothering you.
- II
Measure
TrackMan 4 captures every swing — club speed, attack angle, face-to-path, spin, smash factor. Your real numbers, on screen, in plain English.
- III
Diagnose
Your coach reads the data with you and finds the cause behind your miss — not the symptom you've been sanding away at on the range.
- IV
Fix
We work the biggest lever first, re-measure, then stack the next. You leave with two or three specific fixes — written down, with the drill for each.
03 · Fit check
Who it's for. Who it isn't.
Book it if
- ✓ You've never swung a club and want to start without an audience.
- ✓ You used to play, you're rusty, and you'd rather restart with data than bad habits.
- ✓ You play regularly but the same miss keeps showing up — slice, top, chunk, two-way miss.
Skip it if
-
You just want a fun night hitting balls with friends.
Book a bay instead — from $15/hour → -
You're booking for a kid.

You already know your numbers and want a structured month.

04 · Why measure
Why data beats guessing.
Guessing is expensive.
Buckets of range balls and YouTube tips treat symptoms. Without measurement you can practice a flaw until it's permanent — and never know.
Numbers don't argue.
TrackMan shows what actually happened at impact: ball speed, launch, spin, path. Not how it felt. What it did.
Proof before you leave.
Same swing, re-measured after the fix. If the numbers don't move, the fix didn't work — and you'll see that on screen, not six rounds from now.
The coach
Daniel Kwon. Director of Golf.
Former NCAA golfer at Missouri State. Founder of Club X. He reads TrackMan data for a living — and takes the default First Swing booking himself.

What $79 buys. And what comes after.
The $79 First Swing includes
$79
- ✓ 60 private minutes in Bay 1 — the TrackMan 4 bay
- ✓ Full swing evaluation with a coach, measured on every swing
- ✓ Video review of your swing, included
- ✓ Written take-home: the cause, your fixes, and the drill for each
- ✓ Clubs covered — free club rentals, left- and right-handed
If you decide to keep going
Nothing here is a teaser rate with a contract behind it. After the First Swing, lessons are $150 single (private) or $200 for two (semi-private). Packages bring that down: a 3-pack is $300 ($100/lesson), down to $62.50/lesson on a 20-pack. Prefer a structured month? The 30-day Summer Tune-Up is $299, and your First Swing earns a $50 credit toward it — net $249.
Or buy nothing else. Take your fixes and practice on your own — bays start at $15/hour.
06 · Questions
Before you book.
I've never golfed. Is this going to be embarrassing?
No. Most First Swing bookings are first-timers or golfers coming back after years away. It's a private bay with one coach — nobody's watching, nobody's keeping score. We meet you where you are.
Do I need my own clubs?
No. Free club rentals are available — full sets, left- and right-handed, kid-sized included. Bring your own if you have them; the coach can work with either.
I'm left-handed — does that limit me?
Not at all. The First Swing runs in Bay 1, which is set up for both left- and right-handed players.
What should I wear or bring?
Whatever you can swing in — athletic clothes, joggers, jeans are all fine. Running shoes or soft-spike golf shoes; no metal spikes. Bring yourself, we have the rest.
Where are you, and where do I park?
15230 Yonge Street, Suite 2F — second floor at Yonge & Wellington in Aurora. Free street parking on Yonge out front, plus a free public lot at 3 Temperance Street directly behind the building.
What happens after the hour?
You leave with your numbers and your fixes in writing. If you want to keep going, lesson packages start at $100/lesson, and your First Swing earns a $50 credit toward the 30-day Summer Tune-Up. No pitch, no obligation — plenty of people take the fixes and just book practice bays.
