Booking & Public Play.

Do I need to be a member to play?

No. Public play is the default. Memberships are for people who play 2+ times a month.

How do I book?

Through Alba Play. The Book a Bay button on any page goes there. Confirmation email arrives instantly; access code 15 minutes before your slot.

Can I walk in without a reservation?

We strongly recommend booking ahead — bays are often full, especially evenings and weekends. If you walk in and a bay is open you’re welcome, but the safe move is the 60 seconds it takes to book on Alba Play.

I’m left-handed — does that limit me?

Bays 1 and 2 are set up for both left- and right-handed players, so you have full access there. Bay 3 is right-handed only due to ceiling geometry. When you book on Alba Play, Bay 1 or 2 will be filtered in automatically if you note left-handed.

How early can I book?

Public bookings: up to 7 days out. Members: Social 7 days, Players 10 days, Elite 14 days.

What if I’m late?

Your bay holds for 15 minutes past the slot start. After that, it releases and you’ll need to rebook the next available time.

Cancellations?

Cancel up to 12 hours before for a full refund through Alba Play. Within 12 hours, the slot is yours.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime, pro-rated.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes — anytime. Changes apply on your next billing cycle.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes. Text us to freeze for travel, injury, or any reason. We don’t bill during freeze.

How does 24/7 access work?

Members get a personal Kisi access code. You can book bays through Alba Play around the clock — even at 3 AM.

What’s the guest policy?

Players: 1 guest pass/month. Elite: 2 guest passes/month. Guests play in your booked bay.

04 · Lessons & Coaching

Lessons & Coaching.

Who teaches the lessons?

Daniel Kwon or Trust Chen Pow teaches. Lessons are TrackMan-measured.

Are lessons measured?

Yes. Every lesson uses TrackMan 4 in Bay 1. You get the raw numbers — club speed, attack angle, smash factor, spin, launch, carry.

I’m a complete beginner — am I welcome?

Yes, and the Swing Check is designed for you. We meet you where you are. No prior experience required, no judgement, and you’ll leave knowing one concrete thing to practice. Our newest members started here.

Coming alone — is that fine?

Completely. Solo play is one of the most common ways the bays are used — lunchtime practice sessions, evening focused-improvement reps, off-hours rounds. The space is built for it and the bay is yours for the slot.

What if I don’t improve?

Golf improvement depends on the player, the pattern, and the practice between sessions. The coaching promise is measurement: we capture a baseline, make one focused change at a time, and show you what to work on next. Lesson packages are refundable pro-rata within 6 months.

How do I book a lesson?

Pick a package on the Lessons page. Stripe holds the spot; we text you to schedule the bay time — usually same day.

05 · Events (Private & Corporate)

Events (Private & Corporate).

When will I hear back about an event?

We respond during business hours with real pricing, available dates, and setup details.

Is there a minimum group size?

6 for birthday parties, 8 for corporate and other formal private events. Smaller groups can still book multiple bays as a private play session — text us for the right setup.

Catering options?

Catering coordination is available on request. BYO details and any corkage fee are confirmed with the event quote.

Alcohol service for events?

Bar service may be available for private events, confirmed per booking, even during the bar’s seasonal closure to the public (May 1 – Sept 30).

06 · Gift Cards

Gift Cards.

Do gift cards expire?

No. Never. The card retains its full face value indefinitely.

Bonus credit?

No. Honest pricing — $50 buys $50 of credit, not $50 worth of theatre.

Refundable?

Gift cards are non-refundable but transferable. Any unused balance stays on the card.

Bulk orders for corporate gifts?

10+ cards get manual invoicing and consolidated delivery. Text us at 289-802-1026 to set it up.

Where is Club X?

15230 Yonge Street, Suite 2F, Aurora, ON L4G 1L9. Yonge & Wellington, second floor. Free street parking on Yonge in front + free public lot at 3 Temperance Street directly behind. Elevator to the second floor.

Hours?

Public: 6 AM – 12 AM, 7 days. Members: 24/7. Bar staff (in-season, Oct–April): Mon–Thu by reservation · Fri 3–10 PM · Sat 12–9 PM · Sun 12–6 PM. Closed May 1 – Sept 30 to the public — bar service may still be available for private events, confirmed per booking.

Dress code?

No formal code — wear what you’d wear to play. Athletic clothes, golf shoes (soft spikes or running shoes — no metal spikes), or anything you’re comfortable swinging in. Jeans are fine. Members and event guests sometimes dress up; the room reads either way.

What should I bring?

Yourself. Optional: your own clubs if you have them (free club rentals if you don’t), golf glove, and balls if you prefer your brand (we provide range balls). We don’t allow outside food or drink during public hours — the bar handles that side.

Can I bring kids?

Yes, with a parent. Children are allowed in any bay during open hours.

Loaner clubs?

Free club rentals 24/7. Premium club upgrade $20 during staffed hours.

Accessibility?

Building has elevator access to our 2nd-floor unit. Bays accommodate seated play on request. Text us in advance and we’ll set up.
